WHAT I OFFER
Although I do occasionally run public tours, I am primarily booked for private group tours with somewhere between four (often a family) and forty (generally Girl Scouts/ Girl Guides or Trefoil Ladies) people in total. I designed most as walking tours; sometimes with a component of public transport as well but there is always the option to do them on a coach to reduce the amount of walking involved. I provide a detailed itinerary to the driver for the coach tours, but you need to organise the minivan or coach itself. I offer competitive rates for my guiding services over a half-day (four hours) and full-day (eight hours) and you can combine one or more walking tours together with viewing tourist sights as part of a half-, or full-day programme. I am fully insured for walking tours as well as coach tour guiding. Please use the contact form function to contact me.
HOW IT STARTED
I began giving biking and walking tours of central London for different companies about five years ago. After qualifying as a City of Westminster Tour Guide, I began developing my own tours, specialising in, among other topics, Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting history. As I enjoy looking at some rather unique and niche topics, I chose the name Obscure Tours! Why do the same old, same old when you look at something from a different perspective? The tours can be booked for private groups traveling with their own coach or as walking tours and are available in English or German.
