My Favourite Markets: Columbia Road Flower Market

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Market is closed until further notice. Located in the East End close to Spitalfields Market and Brick Lane in Bethnal Green, it is open on Sundays from about 8am until 3pm-ish. The market itself is lovely, with an array of stalls offering every type of cut and potted flowers, plants and shrubs but the surrounding streets with their Victorian shops and cafes are absolutely charming. Most of the shops are of the small, independent variety and include art galleries, vintage clothes stores, in addition to craft, garden and antique shops. A great place to have a wander and a lazy Sunday breakfast!
