The Obscure Tour: Lambeth

Service Description

Only a short walk across the river from Westminster is Lambeth, a lesser-known and massively underrated area in terms of history and culture. Learn about the history of Lambeth and hear details of several famous firsts, as well as see an area of graffiti art, a picturesque early 19th c. neighbourhood, and a church that predates the Norman Conquest. Along the way, we will discover the stories of several women prominent in their fields in science, industry, and the arts! This tour begins at Lambeth North tube and finishes at Waterloo Station about two hours later.
